How the site works

Around the Pixel provides
you some graphics to use on your computer: pictures for
your desktop background, icons, Kaleidoscope schemes (for
Mac only), some goodies to customize your Mac (cursors,
faces for MP3 players, etc...), and also some softwares
(games, utilities...), but the software section is not
open yet...
Almost everything is free
(except some softwares), but please read the Terms
of Use to know what you can do with my works, or what
you can't.

At the top
of the window, you find the main menu, with all the sections
of this site. The icon of the section you are visiting is
in colors (for example, here, you're in the News section).
Each section has its own menu on the left side of the window,
and if needed, a legend appears at the right side of the
window (the links of the legend lead you to the Help page
of the selected section).
Each section contains an index page, where you'll find the
latest thing that has been added to this section.
Every new addition to the site is added on the latest page
of its section (it means that, for example, if you have
a look on my Desktop Pictures, and that you begin by the
first page, you'll see the oldest pictures I made.)

Use
Everything, except some sofwares, are free,
and you can use them freely as long as it's for your personal
use (personal computer). If you want to use some of my
graphics for your internet pages, for a publication, or
for your application, I would ask you to contact
me first, and we'll see together if I'll charge
you for the use of these graphics. In any case, you can't
alterate my works (graphics or FileMaker database) and
redistribute them.
Internet
You can link my site without any authorization, using
or not the banners you'll find below.
You can not add my icons or any other art works on an
archive site without my authorization (you'll have it,
it's just that I want to know where my little graphics
are going to live...), so contact
me.
Distribution
You can distribute my works on CD-R as long
as the Read-me are included and as long as you don't sell
the CD-R (CD-R that are sold with magazines are OK; let's
imagine we pay only for the magazine... =)); my authorization
isn't required, but again, I would appreciate if you could
tell me where my stuffs have been published. Thanks! =)
